Sep. 8th, 2003 01:17 pmWell this day has been all over the place on the rating meter. I woke up feeling refreshed this morning, the sun was shining. I decided that I wanted to have a "you look cool" kinda day, since saturday and sunday had been "you look like a bum" days, so I put on my jean skirt and my "buffy" boots. Feelin good lookin good. Hyped up on sugar from donuts for breakfast. Right then, the day had a pretty darn good rating.
Then I got to Annapolis and made a stupid mistake. The garage I usually park in said it was empty. I pulled up the the usual door I go to and pushed the button and it wouldn't work. So I backed up and went to the door next to it, which I never use cuz it's at an odd angle. Anyway, it gave me the ticket and opened the gate, and I tried to turn my car to go up the ramp. I thought I had enough space to clear the curb, but apparently I was wrong. Very wrong. I heard a terrible noise and now I have a HUGE dent in the side of my car. My poor baby. So the day went to a rating of "relatively shitty".
So I went inside and of course, madness is ensueing. We are doing a big ticket giveaway for the upcoming Rascal Flatts concert. Bruce was on the phone with the record company and they want the one guy from the band to call in Friday. 'Cept bruce won't be here in the afternoon, only I will. So I have to do the interview. Which is pretty good that he trusts me with it. Didn't boost the days rating too much, but I felt a little better about myself.
So I sat here and tracked the second half of Monday, like ya do. Then Alex popped his head in the door. I thought he was going to ask me about babysitting. But instead he tossed a CD at me. THE NEW JOHN MAYER!!! It won't be in stores until October! And I have it! He said "please don't put it on the web" which I won't!
Needless to say, I can't mope with the new John Mayer CD in my possesion. Sure, it's crappy that I'm stupid and put a huge dent in my car. But the car itself works. The CD player will play this CD and the wheels will spin and I will go home to the apartment and see my Adrian and it's a good day.

I gotta do research on the Rascal Flatts guy so I don't say something stupid during the interview Friday haha. right now all I know for sure is that he shows off his butt in their most recent video and he'll be in Maryland on November 13th. hehe. Might need a bit more though.
