gotta let the big dog eat

Well, I had a full day free yesterday and Adrian's bro Al has been looking for a driving range/golf course to go to, so we went for it yesterday. And MAN am I sore today! I've only attempted driving once before. AD said I was better this time. I was sorta getting the hang of it. Knees bent, bounce, attempt to straighten left arm...oh wait, I can't cuz my boobs are in the way!!! *sigh* maybe that's why they have a "ladies tee" on the golf courses, because some of us have a natural handicap. Anyway, I had a whole basket, I hit all of them, and I'd say maybe 20% of them actually went where I wanted! 7 iron is my weapon of choice at the moment. I didn't try any of the woods though. Those look difficult. My shoulders are killing me! I was tossing and turning last night and now I understand why, every muscle in my back is tight! But I would do it again. I'll just stretch out next time.

I have to work tonight 3-7 (and maybe until 9 if it's busy). Hopefully it won't be busy. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I'm so over retail. And I have no days off this week. NONE. Stupid me. I should have picked one day and told Andrea not to schedule me. Maybe I'll talk to her about that. I've only got a month left though, then the library thing starts, then I'm cutting back. Fer sure.

I watched the commentary on "Lullaby" with Tim Minear and Mere Smith. MUCH better than the previous commentary on "Billy". Tim needs a goofy person like Mere in the booth with him to keep him goofy. Lots of stuff about TV's Angel. Glamourous shooting locations (Piss Alley). Glamourous actors (Julie Benz didn't wear makeup for the last half of the episode). Lots of random tidbits that will be so useful when I finally go to the all Angel fans cocktail party. Ah yes. There's also a deleted scene from "Birthday" that I watched without the commentary. It's supposed to be a scene from Cordy's sitcom. Let me say, thank GOD it was cut. I mean, it's every stupid sitcom ever. haha. I started to watch it with commentary but then we left to go golfing. Pretty much, the episode was 11 minutes over and the Cordy clip had nothing to do with anything so they just cut it out.

i keep having memory lapses. I made a buffystillness icon but forgot to actually enter it! D'oh! Wonder if I forgot anything else...

I attempted to play some of the other games we have on Xbox. I tried "Spiderman". Can't get past the second level. It's a stealth level but I can't figure out how to stealth kill or at least knock out, anybody! So they keep seeing me and then kicking my wussy butt. I tried about 5 times then quit that. AD said he never made it past that level either. Then I tried "BloodRayne". Again with the yuck. I mean, it was a cool idea - hot chick, half vampire, fights demons with giant sword things strapped to her arms. But the controls are CRAP! Instead of doing cool combos, she's just flaling her arms about. And I started on the training level and that was worthless. It's like it has bugs in the training level! It was jumping all over the place...ugh! AD said they are making a BloodRayne 2 - hope they fix the controls. After that, I went back to Oddworld, because that game rocks haha. Saved me some scrubs, donated cash to the Lulu fund and got that much closer to freeing the Mudokons and Gabbits from the evil Glukkons. And if you understood any part of that, you're a dork too haha.
