Sep. 17th, 2004 09:59 pmJoss posted about the "Serenity" movie here. As always, highly amusing Joss-speak. I love that man...in a totally platonic way. I had a very "squee" moment last night while watching my Season 6 DVDs. There's a little featurette called "Buffy Goes to Work" (cuz of the Doublemeat Palace episode) and BOTH Joss & Jane Espensen said they worked in a library before becoming the very cool people they are! And one of the story editor/writers (Rebecca...something...K...she has 3 names) worked in a clothing store! I dunno, it made me feel all good inside.

dlm_stillness and second place at sw_chorus!! I haven't had time to make a single icon this week. :( Very depressing. I have a day off Monday though, so I'll do a few then.
Adrian *aquired* a copy of Sims 2. Played for about 30 minutes last night. Made a hot little Sammy Z character who is already hitting on AD B Chillin. So far it's quite cool, but I think I need to play the tutorial to understand what I'm missing. There are a few new bits of the game.
We tried to go to the Jack Johnson concert at Merriweather. We left and it was cloudy but not raining, but by the time we parked the car and got out it started to POUR! We got soaked. Some nice lady gave us her extra ponchos but it was too late. So we stayed for about 2-3 songs by this Donovan guy (its hard to tell how long that was, since it was a jam session) and then we walked back to the car. It rained for at least another hour so I don't feel so bad. The tix were free anyhow. We went to Friendly's for dinner, had a turkey club super melt - delicious.
oh, and I saw this in a couple communities and thought i'd pass it along:
