I spent a good chunk of my day playing Sims 2. Sammy Z finally died. It was very sad. Clark is an adult now so I moved his ass outta AD's house. AD adopted a baby girl. He also got fired from his science job, but after collecting Sammy Z's insurance money, he hasn't really needed to go back to work. He has 12 days until he becomes an elder. Clark's sweetheart, unfortunately, is still a teenager, which is a bit messed up. I'm gonna have to go play her for awhile so she can become an adult and they can hook up. I wish there was a way to just tell the game to make her age with Clark. Wonder if he can invite her over still....
When I wasn't playing Sims 2, (approx 88 minutes today) I watched "THX 1138". And let me tell you, it was soooo "eh". Many of the same themes as "Brave New World", sedation is the key to happiness yadda yadda. Some weird thing about religion going on in there too, but they never make it clear how the society evolved into that futuristic world. And, since it is a George Lucas movie, it has the obligatory high speed chase scene. There were a few CG tweaks too. I've seen it now, and I had wanted to see it as I have been curious about it for ages, but I don't think I ever need to see it again.
Anyhoo, got the hell shift tomorrow at Limited - 2:30-10:30. YUCK! Why the feck is the mall already open late on Sundays? I bet it's totally dead. *sigh*
Off to read about Ayla and her neanderthal adventures!
