"Oona tooda Solo?"
Dec. 8th, 2004 10:00 pmAD traded in my double action figure for a new one - GREEDO! Yes, now I can re-inact the TRUE cantina scene, Han will shoot first in my games!
Did a bit of Xmas shopping today. Got Mom out of the way. She was my biggest brain bender. But I think she will enjoy what I got her.
I watched "Seeing Red" today, (Buffy Season 6). Again, my not-likeyness of Season 6 is fading away, and I'm almost amazed by how much I am enjoying the show. "Seeing Red" I had been putting off watching for awhile. It's the whole Buffy rape, Tara death episode. I remember when it first aired and I don't think it really sunk in on that first viewing. Watching it now, having re-evaluated the Willow/Tara relationship, I actually got teared up when Tara fell to the ground. And the Buffy/Spike scene made the hair on my legs stand up. And poor poor Jonathan. I mean, he turns back to the good side at the end, but I know what happens to him in Season 7 so it made me sad. Everyone's biggest complaint is about Willow killing Warren later on. It's weird, her killing Warren makes her a murderer too, but hers was done in the heat of passion, I guess temporary insanity. We know it's wrong but at the same time, we want him dead because of what he did to Tara and his own exgirlfriend. He really did murder his exgirlfriend, and the way he used her murder to get at Buffy made him even more dispicable. Dark Willow kills Warren while in revenge mode and even though we know it's wrong, we can't condemn her to punishment. We want her back with the scoobies. I'm not sure we forgive her, but we don't hate her for it.
Yeah, I don't know where I'm going with that but I was thinking of it today because I was so surprised when she went evil at the end.
AD taped LOST so we're gonna watch that while we eat dinner.
I just got 4 more hours at West County next week! Squee!! so I work there Monday & Tuesday. Hopefully everyone will like me and they will call me all the time. Stupid Andrea lied to me yesterday when I asked her about coming in late today so I could take on hours at Rivera Beach - she told me I was on the only one on schedule, so I called back and said I couldn't do it. Then I get in today and Erica, Sarah, Rochelle, are there, and Heather and Megan came in less than an hour later. wtf. I can't wait to quit that job. Grr.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO
