my lonely asparagus sketch.

Went to the party this evening at the library. They had a little gift swap game, where you could either pick a gift from the table or steal someone elses. I ended up buying a copy of "The Dark Crystal" on DVD for the pile, which no one wanted haha. I guess everyone who knows that movie owns a copy, everyone else has no clue what it is. I got a little stuffed creature that looks a lot like a Sprite from Rainbow Brite.

I also got a new copy of BtVS season 7 while I was out. None of the discs fell out when I opened it, so it seems to be in better shape that the first. Popped it into the DVD player to make sure at least "Beneath You" worked, which is did. So yay there.

destertale lamented that I didn't have enough Aly/Willow icons made. So I came home and started looking for caps, then I got this idea to make a mini-movie icons, which pretty much took up the rest of the evening (except for that hour break for dinner & Monk). And now that I'm looking at it, I think I put the frames in backwards. *sigh*



Working at Provinces 9-5 tomorrow. They always say that Saturdays are busy for them, and with the threat of snow, I bet lots of people will be in there looking for DVDs and books just in case. So hopefully that will make the time fly by. If not, post to your livejournals people, because I'm going to need reading material!

one hour left!

well, it's been a long day so far, though I've kept busy. I think everyone must be detouring over to WCO to check out the new branch, so PRO hasn't been very busy at all. One of the pages here is a Buffy fan, and she checked out all of the new BtVS books WCO got and returned them here, and since we have shared collection going on, they are still here. So I've been picking and choosing which I want to read. Not that I need more books - I have "Mirror Mirror" at home and "chosen" has apparently come in for me at WCO. But I checked out "Out of the Madhouse" "The Wisdom of War" and "Apocolypse Memories" since they had decent reviews on Amazon.com.

We're supposed to go out to dinner tonight with my mom. I've been trying to decide which place to go to - right now it's between Outback Steakhouse and Tokyo Sushi. Mom's not big on Sushi though, so I'm leaning toward the steakhouse. Not sure. Though Vincent doesn't get sushi unless we have sushi. Then again, we get pretty roudy when we're out so a quiet sushi restaurant might be too quiet. ho-hum, just not sure.
