Assassin's Creed

*phew* I just spent the last few hours playing Assassin's Creed. That game is intense. But not in the blow-everything-up way that Halo is. It's a weird mix of stealth mode from Splinter Cell mixed with random action-y moments. Like running across the roof tops and jumping up a building ala Prince of Persia (but less cartoon-y)...and then dodging the guards once you hop down. Rescuing innocent citizens on the way.

I like. Climbing up to find view points for different parts of the city is so fun. There is so much to do. I had to ride from my town to Damascus. On the way I could find more view points, collect flags, and, of course, dodge the locals. Now I'm in the city and I can collect flags to unlock more areas, save citizens from mean guards, hide in a bunch of scholars, pickpocket people to find clues to the whereabouts of one of my victims, and visit with the head of the Assassin's club downtown. I ran around just goofin' for over an hour.

Plus, Kristen Bell is in the very beginning, talking to my character. Took me a moment to realize who it was but then I was like "YAY KB!"

So, yeah, so far, I'm enjoying this game.

Okay, now it's cheesecake time and also time to fiddle with my iPod and see if I can switch things around enough to get the 'Once' and 'Sweeney Todd' soundtrack on there...

...yeah, shuffle mode will be a bit more random than usual this week.
