Jul. 21st, 2009 12:18 amOkay, that's it, I'm going to start posting to my Dreamwidth account dammit! I told myself I would use that blog space as a writing journal, try to get back into the habit of storytelling, using my imagination...and what have I done so far?
Nothing. Nada. Zip. A couple of test posts and that is it. Yeah, I've bookmarked lots of websites with writing prompts and stuff, but they just don't do it for me.
So, any of you want to help me out?? Post here with some writing prompts. Give me a first line. Give me a bit of dialogue. Give me an object. Give me a character or a situation.
I know I have a lot of talented writers on my flist, so I wanted to use your collective brain to get my lazy ass brain to scribble...er, type...something!

So, did anyone run out and buy the Watchmen blu-ray? I want to know if the Director's Cut improves upon the original...or just makes it looooooonger. haha. I'm tempted to sign up for blu-ray on Netflix just to see it again...
It is stinky in here. I need to go buy some kitty litter, but I was really hungry when I got home so I wanted to have a snack before I went anywhere NEAR Giant or it would have ended badly.
I dunno if you have seen the picture of Jake Gyllenhall as The Prince of Persia, but I have to say I'm not quite feeling it. There's just something a little too apple-pie about that boy. I like him, but I don't feel he is exotic enough to play this role. Ah well, maybe he will surprise me.
We're going to Florida for the weekend to see AD's parents and our friends Pierre and Virginie. Pierre lived with AD when he was a kid as part of an exchange student program or something. Now he is all grows up, and we haven't seen them since...hm...wow, no idea, AD's parents were still in New Jersey so at least 5 years? Maybe more. So it will be fun to see them! We get in an hour before they arrive. Gonna be a crazy weekend but its always fun down there.
Okay, going to Giant really quick so the place can be less stinky for AD when he gets home for class...
