I was talking on Facebook with my liberry friends, and we were discussing when patrons get titles completely wrong (or just sooo close it's hilarious). Then my friend suggest I use my old tumblr blog and list them there. So I deleted all my old posts (I didn't have much there anyway since I never remember that damn thing exists) and turned it into Mangled Titles (at first I called it "Love and Diarrhea", which was the first mangled title I posted, but then I switched it).
Anyhoo, for those of you that work with the public and have to supply items based on what they ask for, feel free to submit any funny stories to me. Or I think there is a way to let other people post on tumblr...I just don't know how to do it haha.
yes, this is what I did today instead of NaNo or anything else (well, I did take my friend to the doctor and then go to Kohls...but after that this is about all I did).

Nov. 6th, 2009 10:42 pmI'm watching the last few episodes of "Legend of the Seeker" season 1. I just started "Sanctuary" and I'm giggling because they are trying to locate the librarian. EVIL LIBRARIAN!
Well, she's not evil, she's just doing what librarians have a tendency to do - looks for books that might be of interest to her constituents. Basic collection development. Too bad her biggest patron wants the book of countered shadows! And he's a traitor! duh Duh DUH!!!!
I know, I know. You're like - "Sam, why are you not typing up the 5,000 some words you're already behind on NaNoWriMo!?" I'm sort of stuck with that story, not sure what I want to do with it. Plus, it would be a lot more fun to write something with more action and adventure...but maybe I'll just add some more in-game sequences. Then I could have a few sword battles in between me figuring out what my main character is going to do.
Or maybe I need to stop watching "Legend of the Seeker" and read a normal story...
