Played with my art set last night while sitting in bed and listening to Book of Blood and Shadow. Just doodling, trying to just draw and not think too much.



This is about my skill level LOL. Still, it was fun to doodle again. :)

So when I bought my Otter Box and screen protector, Amazon had a deal going for a cheap stylus for $5 so I said what the heck! Obviously, this is not the stylus for a fine artist, but it amuses me and my free drawing apps. Here are two crappy drawings I managed to make while goofing off on Thursday night

Been meaning to change my LJ Header for awhile - R.I.P. Legend of the Seeker, you were a fun two years of TV but we must say goodbye.

and in the category of "not surprised", my Dollhouse season 2 blu-rays I pre-ordered at COMIC CON have still not arrived. Way to go FOX. I'm really craving some Whedon commentary too....

As lostacanthus suggested, I played ME2 with my camera next to me yesterday. Made it a bit hard to focus on the mission at hand (Kasumi's Stolen Memories) but I got some photos of Shepard in her new fancy dress outfit that she was given for the mission. RAWR.



I've got a few more pics so I can try to make icons. :D

and it's 11pm. I have my last storytime of 2010 tomorrow so I should get some sleep so I'm perky and ready to go for the little ones.

AD had this brilliant idea to carve pumpkins this Halloween and not just simple jack-o-lanterns, but hardcore pumpkins. He's still working on his, which will be unveiled later tonight (hopefully) but mine wasn't quite as insane.

I did a scene from Bioshock. Here is the finished, lit pumpkin. Head over to my Flickr page to see the picture I started with and the pattern I made all by myself. :D

Definitely learned a few things that I will look out for next year when it comes to designing a pattern on my own.

So I finally uploaded the Star Trek icons I have been working on for the past...oh, 3 weeks? I hadn't realized I had reach 40 total! Now that Sims 3 has me distracted from photoshop, figured I better get these out there before the movie is out of theaters (or better screencaps surface and I have to start all over! LOL!). Minor spoilers if you haven't seen the movie.

EDIT: Yes, I'm an idiot that can't do math after 10pm, I only had 40 icons, not 80 - DUH!

Finally gave the girl some eyes! And I did the most ghetto hair coloring ever - I colored it with a black sharpie. Actually doesn't look too horrible considering the sharpie was out of ink. I might go buy a new one and try again. I have no desire to tear her apart to get her hair out an then sew it back in. I enjoy crafts but not that much haha.

Still need to do her "ass-tat", which will take some skillz since I'm going to try to do the Mini logo...

Put the first coat of paint on my Starbuck pony too, but she's just creepy looking (all flesh tone, all the time) so I didn't take her picture.

Yay, all the icontests from this past week have posted results so I can finally post all the BSG icons I made after the premiere and for the icon challenges. 27 icons total, mostly BSG (except for one lonely Kristen Bell icon).

I have this bad habit of trying to wait until I have a batch of things to post before uploading graphics and then I find out that I've got a huge pile sitting on my computer, waiting to be revealed! I went through my "in progress" folder on my desktop and found a bunch of things that were done/almost done and uploaded them to orangerful.com.
