Mass Effect 2 - concentrated win
Feb. 6th, 2010 05:57 pmI've only played Mass Effect 2 for a few hours now. A few comments:
WTFrak was I not informed that Yvonne Strahovski ("Sarah" on Chuck) was one of the MAIN characters? I'm totally fascinated with her Aussie accent. I keep chatting with her because the animated on her face is both gorgeous and creepy. I want Miranda and Shepard to hook up but since I picked a female I'm not sure they will let me. Clearly the game thinks I should hook up with Jacob because I went to talk with him and the dialogue was very flirty by default.
Also - Tricia Helfer (BSG's "Six") AND Michael Hogan (BSG's "Col. Tigh")???? I just found Michael Hogan's character, totally recognized his voice - he was ranting off screen when I walked into the room.
And Martin Sheen??? Bioware spared no expense to bring us the finest in video game voice acting. Seriously, voice acting is usually what kills most RPGs for me. But these games I don't mind so much.
So, for those of you wondering, I had not beated ME1 so I had no character to import. So I made a new Shepard. She's an Infiltrator/Colonist and Ruthless. But, as you would expect, I'm having a hard time being a total hardass. I just checked my stats and I've got almost equal points in Paragon and Renegade.
