Nov. 9th, 2014 11:38 pmI feel like I've been really quiet this week. At least, about IRL stuff. We definitely kept ourselves busy!
We're trying to be good and workout a few times a week, so we went to the gym on Monday, then speed-walked around the mall on Tuesday (er, except for a quick stop at Victoria's Secret because I had TWO $10 coupons + free underwear I needed to redeem before Thanksgiving because I will not be going anywhere NEAR a mall from Nov 27 - Jan 2. Because people be crazy.)
Then the Xbox One arrived on Wednesday, but I didn't get home until 9:30 so most of the actual playing around with it was done on Thursday. I won't have a real game until Tuesday (Assassin's Creed: Unity) so we've been amusing ourselves by playing the Forza Horizon 2 Demo. I have a soft spot for the Forza series and OMG I NEED HORIZON 2 SO BAD! This is on the top of my Christmas list for sure. Oh, and I have pre-ordered Dragon Age so I will have that when it comes out next week. And then, brace yourselves, because I'm guessing 95% of my posts for the rest of the month will be updates on my game LOL. madzilla and lostacanthus will be super interested in those posts. (I've been trying to finish up my second DAO playthrough...for those that want to know, my Dwarven Warrior totally did it with Zevran but than left him for Leliana. I did it all for the achievements.)
I did see Birdman today with my boss (she is awesome and therefore I enjoy hanging out with her when I'm not working.). I was not overly thrilled with it. I'm sure if I had a checklist of "what makes a good movie" I could probably tick off all the boxes because technically it was well done but...in my gut? I was just bored and it felt so CLICHE. Meh. Maybe a longer review later.
Speaking of longer review later, I'm caught up on Doctor Who as well and...um...yeah. Also watched Gilmore Girls this weekend so I could actually take part in the conversation this week on![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
re_viewings (yes, my own comm that I made and I am falling behind **facepalm**). I am behind on American Horror Story because I worked day on Thursday and there's no way I'm watching AHS at NIGHT! Nope nope nope. Especially not with how the Halloween episode ended. NOPE!
My friend and I are selling things on eBay. I put up my old video games and he has comic books. If you're interested, our store is here.
