UPDATE: Surprise twist! and June 9 selfie
Jun. 9th, 2019 01:39 pmIn a shocking turn of events, when we got to the restaurant, they had a brunch special of beignets and I'd always wanted to try some, so instead of Knope/Swanson, I went full Princess Tiana!
They were yummy, though I would love to go south and have some proper ones. i mean, it was just fried dough and sugar so how can you mess that up?
They also had a special on Bloody Marys and with the week that was, I figured why the hell not? IT WAS STRONG! So I'm feeling pretty good right now. :D
Here's is today's selfie, with special guest star, my friend Stephanie:
It wants to storm outside. Wind is crazy. But at least the temperature has dropped. We opened all the windows in an attempt to switch out the air in here before it's time to lock it down again.
