1. Post your top 10 CDs, ones that withstand time, that you just don't get sick of, and always want to go back to for whatever reason.
2. Pick 2 or 3 CDs and explain why they're special, or have meaning, to you.
3. List two NEW CDs that you've just discovered and are really excited about. This means new to you, doesn't have to be new in stores.
4. Tag someone!
Dave Matthews Band - Under the Table and Dreaming
album that got me back into modern music after listening to 60s only all through high school
Beatles - Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
First Beatles album I heard, one of my first fandoms
Sting - Ten Summoner's Tales
Whitlams - eternal nightcap
bought this album in Australia, and it makes me remember Aus and the good times there...and the really hot tour guide
Once More with Feeling - Buffy the Vampire Slayer Musical
I have listened to this CD far too many times, and just like the TV show, when I'm singing along with the songs, I feel less alone in this big crazy world
Sarah McLachlan - Fumbling Towards Ecstasy
Rockwell Church - superego
Rufus Wainwright - Poses
Five For Fighting - American Town
Pete Yorn - musicforthemorningafter
NEW CDs
Jem - Finally Woken
Garden State Soundtrack <---both of these qualify for the above list as every track locks.
That was insanely hard, especially since I'm at work and don't have my CDs or iTunes to look at!!

Date: 2005-07-07 03:44 am (UTC)I have Sooooo many CDs it's not even funny, but it was actually really hard to remember any of them when I was put on the spot. I had the first 5 pretty quick, but then the last 5...I was really sorta mentally picturing our apartment and where the CDs were haha. I'm not sure why I put Pete Yorn on there hahaha. I enjoy the album but I just pulled it out again the other day so it was fresh in my mind, but before that it had been sitting on the shelf for prolly a year!
yay for Jem fans! I actually got to meet her, she's really TINY! But I really like her music and the fact that she's not whiny or man-hating....oh blast, I should have put a Dido album on there! I can listen to 'No Angel' any day!
