woo-hoo, we're back baby!!!!

jimithingy went to the Millenium headquarters today and picked up a new modem...which didn't work for about 9 hours then, WHAM! Now we're up and running on both computers at super-fast speeds! It's fantastic!

I just uploaded the new & improved version of orangerful.com!!!! Yay! It has pretty tables for the icons so they look nicer (though I should have moved the labels over, whoops!). I also added a new section with some of my livejournal banners! And AND I finally made a couple link back buttons! They are not fantastic, but I actually have them up there now, which makes me happy.

Anyhoo, not too much has been going on here. Sans internet, AD spent most of the day playing Prince of Persia 2 and I played Sims 2 and modified my website. July 4th we went over to the 'rents house, hung out, had dinner, saw the fireworks on Ft. Meade, and then came home and did some fireworks that zaubervz has purchased. Only one dud in the bunch, but it was made up for when the tiny tank almost shot V-man in the leg. hahahhaa. Oh man, I about died. Yesterday I went to the dentist, had my teeth cleaned. He made a face about my wisdom teeth but I'm not in the mood for surgery so I ignored him and ran away. I was hoping to go to the pool with the short people, but it waited right until I pulled up in their driveway, then it started to POUR. And not just pour, but thunder and the whole works. So that shot that. I'm going over there tomorrow for some late night sitting. Then we're driving up to NJ for AD's birthday on Friday! But I have to be back again by Sunday to work at Crofton.

I just fought with my Star Wars Early Bird package to get the stupid thing out of it's air-tight packaging. Finally manged to break through and get the UPC code out along with the mail in certificate so I can pop that sucker in the mail and get the figures I've already paid for.

Hm, Lion King you say...is there a specific part you'd want iconed? I have the DVD, so I could do mini-movies and such as well as take caps. Heck, if you just want me to cap a certain scene for you and give you the caps to make your own icons,I can do that too! weeee for internet!

*ponders* Hmmm... there's so much of the Lion King that breaks my heart, hence, I adore it. *giggles* I think one of my favorite parts is his talk with Mufasa's spirit, especially when he's sitting on the edge, looking down after Mufasa has gone. ;_; Perhaps when Simba's laying under Mufasa's paw in the ravine. ;_; Only if it's no trouble for you, or course! :D

yay, thanks! I'm much happier with my site now too, though now that I've actually seen in in action, there are a few things I need to tweak (the section labels on each page are all off to one side, need to center them yadda yadda).
