downpour

it just started POURING here. And genius that I am, I realized I left my car window cracked when the storm was starting. So I ran outside. It wasn't really raining, but misting, yet the wind was insane. I thought I was going to fall over. To make it worse, I'm wearing a skirt today, so I had to cling on to it to keep my dignity in tact. Also, they were repaving the road this afternoon, and I could feel the bits of rock and tar flying up and hitting me in the face as I walked towards the door. Now, I'm damp. And I can hear the thunder outside and the rain pelting the roof. And I'm kicking myself for not grabbing my umbrella while I was in the car rolling up the window. *sigh*

I made a new character in Guild Wars. I had a name to start with - Sezoidy, which was the name of a science project I did in elementary school. We had to create an alien to live on whatever planet we were assigned. I think I had venus, so my alien had a special mouth for breathing the gases and getting food from them yadda yadda. ANYWAY, my mom was into naming things using our initials and such, so that's how we got the name - SEZ are my initials. I thought it was a good name for a Necromancer, so I made one. She's Mistress Sezoidy. I'm still in the training area, but so far I'm happy with her. I want to make her secondary occupation Warrior, just so she can defend herself against up close attacks (a problem Melaka has). just need to find the warrior trainer.

okay, I better post this in case the library loses power. The storm is starting to quiet down, but who knows what it's dong near the power company. I just hope we still have internet when I get home tonight.

omg, it started to pour while I was at work, too! I got soaked at the drive-thru during my lunch because it was raining sideways!

i hate sideways rain. There's no defense!

Plus, it's hard to get back into work mode when you're soaked.

We had a huge storm here too. Maybe it was the same big annoying storm since we really aren't all that far from each other... anywhoodle. Your icon is hot....LITERALLY.

And you make me want to play Guild Wars....but I don't have it. haha. So basically you make me want to spend money. T_T

I wondered if it was your storm, the timing would have been right. It was crazy here. Our apartment lost power at 6:30 and we didn't get it back until 12:40! AD and I were both twitching since we wanted to get on our computers or watch TV or something!

Guild Wars is fun. Best part is there's no monthly fee so I don't feel bad if I don't get to play it because it's not like I'm just tossing money away. Plus, my girls are HOT. haha. You don't need to buy it though, you've got quite enough RPing going on as it is!
