Okay, I've been staring at the star wars concept art, but my brain has decided it doesn't want to make any more of those. I just downloaded a ton of Natalie Portman pictures, but only made one icon using them ([livejournal.com profile] jimithingy keeps making fun of me for constantly having Natalie pictures in photoshop). So, I need ideas. Anyone have any requests? A pic they saw and wanted as an icon? a favorite quote? favorite character?

Heck, maybe I'll try to do something clever like [livejournal.com profile] spitefairy did for her friend's list ages ago. Just reply to this if you want an icon, and I'll go through your LJ interests and pick one of them to icon (you don't get to pick, I get to pick! bwahahaha)! How's that? That sounds like fun!

Yes, I'm going to start a big project RIGHT before I leave for Maine. That is how I work. haha. Plus, if you reply before I go, I can take a pen and paper with me and work on graphics ideas on the car ride up! Brilliant!

No! Don't go to Maine. Maine is scary. They have all those stories....

I have to go. They have lobster. Can't say no to Maine Lobster.

My grandma is a big stephen king fan, she has all the novels. And their house is one of those huge creepy houses that could have been a B&B at some point. One time I went there, and she actually had a copy of Misery sitting on an end table WITH A HAMMER NEXT TO IT! Freaked me out.

Suddenly I'm remembering a Buffy episode where Andrew compares the movie and the book....

Well, if you're truly desperate for ideas, awhile back I had this idea for an icon of Anakin in Episode III with the words "SHIRTLESS!ANGST & WOE" on it...

Since I totally missed it because I suck... when exactly are you heading to Maine? Is it beautiful up there? I bet it is... :)

OK... just to help you get over your icon-block... I challenge you to make me a gorgeous icon of one of my interests. Wait, that's not really a challenge... you already make gorgeous icons! :D I'd really love to know which one you'd pick, though! :D

yay, I was hoping you'd reply. :-) You have so many hot good interests.

I'm going to Maine on Sunday morning with my folks. I love Maine, my grandparents live in a small town called Gorham and they have a beautiful house with sooo much land on it. Lots of trees. Only problem is the mosquitos (Maine State Bird), they like to chew on my legs. Hoping to spend a few days in Boston too, which is pretty much just a glorified college town, which is why, for a city, it's pretty cool because it has something for everyone - a bit of history and a bit of youth culture on every corner!

Hee! Yay for hot good interests! :D

Your grandparents' place sounds wonderful. :) I've been wanting to travel to the NE, but just haven't had the time nor the cash for such an adventure. (Ever since Dead Poets' Society, I've wanted to see Vermont.) I would love to see Boston, too, because of it's history. I bet it's an amazing vacation spot. Take bunches of pictures so that I can live vicariously through them, OK? :D

*points to her current icon*

I challenge you to make a Zooey Deschanel icon...cause she is the prettiness. (and there aren't any good icons of her out there.)

Have fun in Maine!!!

ooh yes, she is pretty. I liked her in Hitchhiker's Guide and Elf. *looks at IMDB listing* oh heck, she was in Almost Famous! No wonder she looked familiar to me when I saw Elf! And she's been busy, she has 5 films either upcoming or in production! Yay for Zooey.

She has those beautiful huge eyes too. I shall start an image search right away!

haha. She's everywhere. She was in "The Good Girl" too.

I use her in every freaking RP community I'm in. haha. Well....except for the one where I can only have one character....

Anyway. YAY for Zooey!!!

This isn't really the place for this, but I'm trying to come up with a Component layout style for my journal, but I can't figure out how to get the navigation bar next to the other components OR how to make the width of the journal smalller. Can you help me, or tell me where to go for help? pleeease?

I really don't know much of anything - I totally copied and pasted mine from [livejournal.com profile] awakencordy's tutorial (http://www.livejournal.com/users/awakencordy/39824.html). I think she mentions in the tutorial which line of code is for the width of the journal. Not sure about the nav bar stuff. There's also a comm called [livejournal.com profile] component_help which could probably give you a right answer on the first try hehe.
