So, next Friday will be my Firefly viewing party. I printed out a copy of the Serenity cookbook from the movie website. Amazon has shipped my Serenity books, though I will probably hide those during the party since they will contain spoilers and all. Next I need to pick the episodes for the viewing party.

So, anyone want to suggest an episode? I think we definately have to watch Serenity, because, hello, the pilot! I'm not going to make the same mistake as FOX! I think we might have to end on Objects in Space too...but who should take those spots in between. I'm looking at fireflyfans.net and looking at their rating for each episode, which gives me some ideas. Perhaps Ariel and Out of Gas. Possibly War Stories since we get some great River and Book action in that one...

How does that sound? Do you think those will give the new comers a taste of the show, enough to get hooked, and enough backstory to want to see the movie? Any others that you feel need to be shown? come on, state your case here! haha.

My favorite episodes are Ariel, War Stories (I love Wash so much!), Shindig (hehe Captain Tightpants..), and Our Mrs. Reynolds. Okay, so that's like half the series. But those are the ones I fell in love with when I watched them for the 1st time.

I think you should definitely show Ariel though, cause that one's all Simon/River, and I find that their story is always the hardest to tell people about.

I think Shindig was the first episode I remember really watching...I know I saw the other ones but that was the one that made me love all of them so much. Kaylee is so cute in her dress talking shop with the boys.

Good choices! However, I must to put in a vote for Our Mrs. Reynolds just because I LOVE that episode. It makes me laugh lots and lots...

I know, that episode is so hilarious...ah Joss, you are so naughty! I was thinking I might have that be the bonus episode...since it doesn't have so much in the way of story arc...but it's just so great, so if they survive the other episodes, that one will be there too haha.
