I made a new character on WoW. She's an undead Mage. I wanted a mage after getting one of my other characters fried by a guy tossing fire at me. Decided I would like to do that too. Then [livejournal.com profile] jimithingy mentioned that all my friends were on the Horde side, so I made her Undead. My oh-so-clever name for her is Skeleta. Beware she is SCARY!

Now, I need to choose her profession. She can't wear leather, so I'm not gonna make her a leatherworker, that'd just be silly. She doesn't need to be a blacksmith, and she uses magic and swords and shields own't do her any good. So she's either gonna be an Herbalist/Alchemist, Miner/Engineer, or Tailor/Enchater. [livejournal.com profile] destertale? [livejournal.com profile] firesongkvala? Help me out here, what do you think?

And on a totally random note -- I need to buy a corset. Nothing fancy, mind you, just something...well...piratey! See, I just tried on my old RenFest dress...yes, the one I bought in high school, and shock of shocks, it doesn't fit! Well, the shirt does, but it's a huge basic renfest undergarment (Cloth Shirt 0+ armor). And what is the point of dressing up like a pirate wench if I can't wear a freakin' corset!!!! I'm thinking I'll have to go spin by Hot Topic and hopefully they will have something. Though I'm sure the Halloween stores have started to pop up in the Mall. Ooooh, maybe while we're at the mall, I can look for Serenity figures. This plan just gets better and better...

btw - [livejournal.com profile] spitefairy/[livejournal.com profile] iconifer has been on a ROLL with making pretty things this week. The icon I'm using is one of them. Gotta love mixing the fandoms.

I'm crossing my fingers that I have no work this saturday so I can be totally liberated for Renn Fest.

I'm gonna feel bad since I won't have a pirate outfit to wear either lol.

"You are by far the WORSTE pirate I've ever heard of."

"But you HAVE heard of me..."

do like [livejournal.com profile] destertale reccomended - hit up some thrift shops for some cheap tops to make into pirate wear! Plus, there are a ton of halloween shops popping up all over the place where you could probably get a pretty cheap hat at least hehe. I mean, you should have SOMETHING! Maybe we'll just get you an eyepatch...

Ahahaha, she is EVIL!

I say go for Tailor/Enchanter. Undead hate healing, and those hands so aren't made for mining.

I recommend Ebay for Corset buying, though if you want something really good and $400 go to dark garden

Bwhahahahahaa, my sekrut is that all the icons I've been posting are old half-finished ones that I finally decided to sit down with, save as jpgs and post them.

true true, tailor/enchanting may be the way to go...then again, [livejournal.com profile] jimithingy's warlock is a tailor/enchanter and he's been hooking me up with nice clothes already. (my lovely blue vest, for example) But then I could make my own clothes and be an independant dead woman!

Only problem is, Pirate Weekend is this coming weekend, dunno if Ebay would get here in time. This will probably be the only time I wear the corset too, so I doubt I'm going to buy anything too expensive.

Ah, I should go through my little "in progress" folder and finish off all the ones I have in there (most of them are old contest entries that I gave up on text for hehe) Then I will rule the icon world! bwhahhahaha!

Herbalism/Alchemy...

Sorry for the late ass response...

Herbalism is an awesome moneymaker on the Horde side of our server! It'll start slow combined with Alchemy, because you'll use many of the herbs you gather, but once you get to the point where your Alch. recipes no longer need those herbs, or you choose not to make certain potions any longer, you can sell the herbs for boooku cash. Kingsblood generally goes for anywhere from 5 gold to 12 gol per stack of 20, and that's a mid-level herb (also a very commonly found herb). Swiftthistle sells to Rogues for one of their potions...

Alchemy will let you keep yourself in buffs and mana potions for lower cost and more reliability than finding drops or buying them.

That would be my recommendation! Happy Adventuring!

Yeah, Inara is an alchemist and she's pretty much always chugging potions. Makes it easier to wander off on your own and explore and not end up dead. But I'll keep it in mind for Skeleta too...soon as I get back to her. I'm trying to get Inara up into the 20s.
