Just want to apologize now. I'm at the library and it's nasty weather out. Which means, its freakin' DEAD in here. I've been at the desk not even an hour yet and I've run out of ways to keep busy. So expect memes and rants and anything else I can think of because, yeah, there's nothing else to do. *headdesk* I wish I could take a quick nap...think anyone would notice?

OH!

haha, gotta love the random on a saturday morning.

And a hugh laurie icon! sweet! Is that Blackadder Goes Forth Hugh?

University reference desk, huh? I am not brave enough to work at a college, far too many real questions. I like the public library, that means I get questions about hyptertension in adults and a book about kittens for a 1st grader in the same day.

of course, those would be ALL of the questions I've had in my 2 1/2 hours today...

Bravo! Black Adder Goes F. was my fave of the series...

So far, she's had a bunch of directional questions (where's the computer lab? where's the elevator?), a question about Slovak language-instruction tapes, and a woman looking for a pillow that she'd left at the desk yesterday.

I'm sure there's a joke to be made about hypertension in kittens, but I'm just going to tap out.

I'm partial to Blackadder III, probably because it was the first in the series that I ever saw. It's also the best way to put House M.D. fans into shock who have never seen the sillier side of Hugh. But Goes Fourth is probably my second favorite. ;)

a pillow under the desk? I wish I had one of those right now haha. Directional questions here usually crack me up. My favorite from last week was "could you show me where you keep the novels?" which would pretty much be the entire left side of the library. Apparently they didn't know that a novel was just a fiction book. *headdesk*

"*headdesk*"--I like that.

Personally, the only BlackAdder that I don't like is the first season. Couldn't wend my way through it. BlackAdder was too much of an idiot and, of course, no Laurie in sight.

I have to agree with you there, the only reason I've watched the first one because I had seen the rest of the series....though it's amusing watching Brian Blessed being totaly insane after seeing him in more serious roles all my life hehe.

and there was much rejoicing in Darkshire! Even with that creepy clock bonging away.

though I should have taken the hint and gone to bed then. I'm soooo tired. haha. Well, not super tired, half of it is this silly weather, it's hard to get motivated when it's so gloomy out!

thank you.

okay, right after I posted that, they brought out little pumpkins for me to cut out, so that's keeping me busy. I also posted to [livejournal.com profile] starwarsicons and that was a big thing, but it hardly effects anyone on my flist...so the apology was kinda silly. Now I feel like I need to spam everyone just because I said I would.

*yells out window* STOP RAINING!

wow, if that wasn't just a glorified advertisment! Why didn't she just write "girls like games that don't suck" and list the best reviewed games of the year?

I bet Geekwoman is a dude.
