Okay, so, on Saturday, the library I was in was freezing. And to top it off, it was raining, so I was a little damp which made it that much colder. Today, I figured since it was so cold at that tiny branch, that I better wear something a bit warmer since I'm going to a bigger branch and they would take more time to heat up. WRONG! It's soooo hot in herre today. And there's just a *touch* of humidity, it seems (which can't be good for the books) and it's just uncomfortable. Icky. It's a gloomy day too, lots of clouds and probably a chance of showers. Not how ya wanna start the week, ya know?

So I printed out directions to the closest Crate & Barrel, so after I get outta here and 1 (and have some lunch), [livejournal.com profile] jimithingy and I will head over there to buy wedding presents for Joanne & Mike. I can't believe that I'm going to their wedding this Saturday. Hm...guess I better look for something nice to wear while we're out today too. Was gonna use this as an excuse to buy a pretty dress. Hm...

It's [livejournal.com profile] vertigozooropa's birthday !! What's with all the October babies on my flist? What sign is that? Obviously, it's very compatible with Pisces.

Saw Serenity again with my mom and [livejournal.com profile] zauber_vz. It was still fantastic the third time around. I wish I could meet Joss Whedon, just for 5 seconds, because I want to give him a ginormous hug. I said this to [livejournal.com profile] whitemartyr yesterday; there's something about his writing that makes me feel less alone in the 'verse. You get so used to stupid TV and stupid Movies and you start to feel like everyone else must enjoy them because they keep making them, why don't I? Then you meet Browncoats or Buffy fans, or Angel fans who truly understand the shows and their deeper meanings and you think "maybe I'm not alone". And that's a good feeling.

[livejournal.com profile] blu_harvest just peer pressured me into going out to lunch with him. He said he's buy me a sub...blast! I can't resist free food!

Yeah, I get what you're saying about Joss. His writing does bring about an unidentifiable good feeling. And meeting a fellow fan is a relief. Like being an alien in hiding, and finding another of your kind.

My friend Genevieve likes Joss stuff. I'd forgotten about that, and she said to me last week, "James Marsters is in town, filming Smallville." I wanted to run to find him right then and there....

And Neil Gaiman's in town right now, too! Not going to see him, though.

Good, I'm happy my Joss-babble made sense. :)

oooh, you live near where they are shooting smallville? You should so hunt Marsters down! Actually, he's probably wandering around town since no one will recognize him without the bleach blond hair haha.

Neil Gaiman was in town the weekend of RenFest. But I decided to be a pirate rather than travel into downtown DC that weekend.

Hey whaddaya know, I'm October too! Last Thursday as a matter of fact. Amazing that I can remember seeing Star Wars when it came out, and yet I'm only 29 :-)

I didn't know any October birthdays until I moved here to MA, but now there's a big cluster of them. So many that I can't remember exactly who is which date, which I realize now I'd better start figuring out fast..

Hell , Yeah! Libras kick ass! :) Everyone else is cool of course, but of the libras I've met they've all been pretty cool, chill people. except for one who was one of the worst assholes I've ever had the misfortune to know. So, we're not perfect...

( fire dragons, such as myself however, are the Lords of Heaven and Earth!!! hahahahahha)
What are you btw Sam? Signwise, western and eastern?

October babies are Libra, mostly, with a few of the later months belonging to Scorpio. Heh, I'm also a water sign, and I've always gotten along with Libras and Scorpios, too. :)
