me and my big mouth!

So, yesterday I was dreading working my sunday shift, because usually, at WCO, sundays are sloooooooow. So I'm running my mouth, telling people to post to their blogs, send me e-mails etc, to pass the time.

IT HAS BEEN NUCKING FUTS TODAY!

The main catalog connection was "forcefully rejected" by the system (that was the actually error message)! So that made the computer log on go down and also knocked out the online catalog. That lasted only a few minutes, but it was enough to cause a bit of chaos, as the person I was helping had a medical question it's difficult to just browse the health books cuz there are so many. Plus, I tend to just use the online databases for health questions, more up to date stuff that way. Anyhoo, then all that stuff came back online but suddenly I had two patrons whose printers had locked up so I'm running back and forth from their computers to mine to figure out what happened. One of the computers had turned evil, gave me all kinda of weird messages. I just shut that one off because I did not feel like dealing with it anymore.

Phew. So it's 4:30 and I just now finished reading my friends list. I checked out a nice pile of books too. Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, book 1 of Usagi Yojimbo, and a Batgirl collection (she was a librarian! I gotta give her a try!).

destertale was absolutely AWESOME and drove up to Baltimore yesterday to get Harry Potter tickets for us. So we shall be seeing Goblet of Fire at midnight on Noveber 17th at the lovely Senator Theater! Yay!

Speaking of HP - Leaky-Cauldron posted a scan from a kids sticker book with a HORRIFYING picture of Lord Voldemort. Though part of me thinks that maybe it's just the death eaters mask and not good ol' LV. what do you think?. Careful - it's freaky!!

can you do midnight madness with us at The Senator? I dunno if that would be too late to stay out since it would be a school night. hehe. Laurel said they sounded like they still had plenty of tickets when she picked up some on Saturday.

hmmmm, not so sure it's Voldemort. But a death eaters mask would be believable.

Just from what I remember reading at the end of the book, that's not at all how I envisioned Voldemort. Not reptilian enough.

yeah, I think it looks a lot more like a mask. I'm just figuring whoever made the book just put whatever text they felt like over the image.

my spanish is more than a little rusty too so I have no idea what that says.
