well, I guess I might have to start watching the new Doctor Who when it airs on sci-fi this year....seems as though the writer of the series worships Joss. and that can only lead to good things hehe.

I was pretty happy with LOST last night - the Mr Eko story, while sort of predictable, was still fun to watch unfold. And Charlie.....oooooooh! Not sure about next week though, I really cannot stand Micheal and his whole "wah wah Walt" story. I hope they just get that shit over with next wednesday, find walt and tie him to a tree so they never lost him again.

I have almost survive a full work week. Just one more day left! Today I got to make the closing announcement! ooooh! I resisted the urge to say "GET THE HELLZ OUT BIOTCHES, WESA CLOSIN!" and stuck with the script. It wasn't very busy anyway and everyone was out by 5 of. Then they let me close and lock the doors. I know you are jealous. I bet you wish you got to lock doors. Tomorrow I have a meeting about supervising volunteers, as it turns out I'm in co-charge of that. Crazy!

OMG tomorrow is friday the 13th! *is scared*

Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever had anything bad happen to me on a friday the 13th. It's those Monday the 13ths you gotta watch for, I kid you not.

There's a DCSWCC meeting on Saturday, I think [livejournal.com profile] verdatum is going to come with me. It's in Bethesda, which is about 45 minutes south of me. I always feel like I'm talking about AA meetings when I tell people I'm going. "Yeah, Saturday is my star wars meeting" haha. Instead of telling me not to drink, they encourage my spending habits of random toyness. So far, I don't owe anyone any money. So far. I'll probably bring some cash with me though, you never know when someone will wave some buffy merch in my face or perhaps the cutest yoda ever. hehe.

Okay, working 9-5 tomorrow so I should probably get some sleep.

LMAO.. I read this at 7 o'clock this morning before classes and it put me in such a good mood...

I really liked Lost.. especially when Charlie referred to Eko's staff as his "Jesus Stick." I blame Claire for Charlie's seemingly inevitable relapse.. poor hobbitses. Haha I know where Walt is.. he kept calling Matt last week while he was at school alone. He got these messages on his answering machine that were whispery and scary and he said they sounded like Walt. Mystery solved. He's in Auburn. ;)

*avoids making jokes about how the guy on the boat looked a bit like a hick and perhaps this story works out!*

Dear lord. I am so happy. I was wondering how I could my hands on the new Dr. Who. Scifi is showing it? Joy! I've heard really good things about it. I've also heard that the guy playing the Docotr is unhappy but this being Dr. Who if he leaves it will not be a problem. I also want them to bring over Hex which seems even more like british Buffy inspired stuff.

Speaking of Star Wars! The 501st is making an appearance here at CRO for a program on Feb 25th. It's a Saturday, and we should both be off, since we have the same weekend schedule. I'm probably going to pop in just to watch! ^_^

haha, Becky I don't know how you did it but you've screened your post and I can't reply to it haha. I can't even see it on my lj.

Yes, the Tom Baker ones are out on DVD cuz the library actually has them (someone had headquarters must be a who fan). Those were the ones I remember because Baker was a little goofy, and I like them goofy. ;)

the only unsettling part is that the guy who played the bad crouch in the recent HP movie plays the newest Doctor! And the guy who's the doctor the one season before him played a crazy general in 28 days later...so it's going to be hard to trust either of them! haha

Ha- oops! An explanation: Wrote "I heart Tom Baker" or some such thing, with "heart" in brackets, forgetting that anything in brackets would be read as HTML and not appear. Felt stupid, deleted post, was debating whether to rewrite when my phone rang and that was that. Didn't think you'd get a mystery post- sorry about that!
