orangerful: (star wars figures // spitefairy)

I wanted to share my pics of my new toy set up. I re-did my star wars shelves, as they were getting cluttered and the need to have all things RotS on display had passed. Now it's handpicked favorites and new aquisitions. I also put all of my little Yoda's together on one shelf, which made for a very crowded shelf, but I like it and moved Illyria up to the Buffy shelf. Plus, the Halloween Palz figures are chatting in front of my comic books and HP novels. Here's the album. Also, under random, there's a photo of [livejournal.com profile] zaubervz playing Guitar Hero, which makes me laugh as he was IN THE ZONE right when I snapped the photo.

Also, I wanted to share the link to a movie that looks really cool. I can already tell I'm going to love it. It's called "5-25-77". For those of you that don't know, that is the day 'Star Wars' was originally released. Okay, it looks like a big dorkfest, but I love those, plus it has that actor from 'Freaks and Geeks' that I like. What's even more amusing is that Gary Kurtz, one of the actual producers of Star Wars, was involved in the creation of this movie. haha. Unfortunately I'm having trouble finding a regular link to the trailer...seems it was here, now it's gone, then it was there, now it's gone. I'm currently downloading something that *says* it's the Trailer from Megaupload. We'll see if it works.

And it's already very quotable:

"To everybody else, movies are something to do when you're tired of real life. To you, real life is something to do when you're tired of watching movies."

There's also another line in there that really hit home to me...though instead of 'Star Wars', I think for me it would be 'Serenity'.....I'd quote it at you but the file is taking awhile to download...maybe I'll quote it at you tomorrow....

Wow, I think your troopers rival the Imperial Army itself... great pictures. I love all your stuff. :)

heehee, thanks! The new clones have all that extra articulation, makes them fun to set up! I mean, you can actually pose them the way they are shown on the back of the box!

That's a good collection.

So very me to ignore the toys and rave about the books in the background.

I see two Transmets, Brief Lives, 4 Y's, SiP Pocketbook 1, and EDDIE!

teehee I knew you'd notice those. Most of those were christmas presents so I could finally start a comic collection. It's Global Frequency on the far left and Sandman after Transmet.

And Eddie! I picked that up while in London. Its such a pretty book, lots of cool pictures.
