Though I do think Pixar is an incredible film company, Finding Nemo is just.... meh, I didn't enjoy it. I'm sick of the let's-kill-off-parents-and-other-people-in-the-beginning-so-we-can-isolate-this-one-child-that-way-we-can-make-sure-as-many-people-relate-to-it-and-fell-bad-for-the-character-as-possible. It's stupid. It's a Disney movie ploy: (little mermaid only has a dad no mom, 101 dalmations are orphans, pinocchio is adopted by Jipedo (sp?) mufasa dies early on in the lion king, belle's mom is gone in beauty and the beast, snow white has an evil step mother (but this disney movie is actually incredibly good).... I think everyone get's what I'm saying. I'm sick of the same theme, children movies revolve around single parenting. Such a hollywood ploy. Finding Nemo did the same thing. It sucks.
And also, whoever said The Incredibles is the worst, WRONG! I'm amazed at how closely related that movie is to the graphic novel "Watchmen." It's pretty much the exact same story, and even as a copy, The Incredibles (beyond the cliche cute that many girls have mentioned -pukes-) It's a novel and refreshing idea for a movie.
killing off the parents/guardians is part of the hero myth, pretty much a tried and true way of creating a hero out of nothing. Harry Potter's parents were murdered, Buffy's parents are divorced...not having the "traditional" 2 parent family gives the characters just one more thing to "overcome" as far as storytelling goes. I really don't think you can hold it against Disney.
And I feel like Incredibles pays homage to watchmen rather than copying it. There are enough differences in there, but that basic idea about superheroes being real people is there.
Monsters Inc is my least favorite of the bunch, I just remember it not having the humor of the other ones that I enjoyed so much. I pretty much posted this poll because 2 people acted surprised when I said I didn't like Monsters Inc, so I wanted to know what everyone else thought hahha.

Yeah, it's also more appropriate to say The Incredibles pays homage rather than copies Watchmen. Bad word-choice on my part. Good movie nonetheless.
