okay, I know I used this tutorial before to add a header to a free account before I went paid...but fo the life of me I can't remember how to get into the override code area they are talking about. I wanted to make simfamous all pretty! I even made it a banner really quick just so spruce it up! *le sigh* Guess that will have to wait until tomorrow.

I have so many books to read. 'Great Books' is the first week of April, and I still have 8 books to read by then. True, they are all J and YA novels, BUT that's still a lot of reading. Especially when every book I've requested from outside the state seems to be arriving. Yesterday it was 'Mystique vol 2 - tinker tailor mutant spy' by Brian K Vaughan. Today it was 'The Hood', also by BKV. And I looked at my account today and 'The Walking Dead' was in processing at headquarters!!! Inter-Library loan books usually can't be renewed since they come from far far away (Mystique was shipped in from Florida, The Hood somewhere called "Woodinville"...no joke). And it's hard not to read those because I've been waiting to read them for awhile now. I'm actually really shocked they found 'the hood' for me! It's out of print and I think it's one of BKV's first comic series...but lo and behold. There's a fanboy/girl somewhere out there stocking the shelves of the Woodinville library with quality graphic novels!

LATI starts tomorrow. I get to sleep in a whole 30 minutes! Ooooooh. No seriously, OOOOOOH! I like any bits of sleep I can get. It says we get a "continental" breakfast, but that can range from coffee and a donut to buffet style. Wonder what it will be. I'll probably have breakfast before I go anyway, juuuust in case it's nasty food. Plus, coffee, yuck. It also says lunch is included...again, hopefully it will be something yummy. I just hope my stomach doesn't start to growl. I have a very loud tummy, even when I'm not hungry, it starts growling.

I can't wait to show off Giles too. I'm so proud of myself for thinking of bringing that to "represent me". Think about it - he's a librarian (check for me too), he's an adult but he doesn't mind working with teens (check), he has a vast knowledge of some pop and classic culture (check), and he doesn't die at the end of the show (check!)

Plus, Sam + Toys = OTP.

Speaking of my preciouses, my firefly promo card came today!!! Unfortunately I have to wait until April 30th to get the rest. But I will have them! And the Veronica Mars cards! and the Young Indy cards! mmmm trading cards.

I just realized I'll be internet-less ALL DAY tomorrow!!!! *gasp* How...how will I survive!!! Even if I don't post every day, I read my flist every day and try to comment. Means I'll have a lot of catching up to do when I get home at 5pm.

Oh, and I'm thinking of getting a haircut, somewhere between Veronica Mars in the pilot episode hair and the new hair cut Storm has in the X3 trailer...course, Storms hair just looks cool because of the black/white coloring of it...and Veronica too has highlights I think. Though I still have random leftovers of my red hair...

yay or nay people? Yes, I know it's "teh flippy cut" yet again. Do you have any other hair suggestions? I like it short, but not Natalie Portman/V for Vendetta short. But it's season 2 Buffy length right now and I seriously just don't have the skillz to keep it looking decent. I've just been putting it in a ponytail to keep it outta my face. So any help and/or links to photos would be appreciated.

My hair's been buggin me too. Really want to cut and straigten it and fix the colour since it didn't turn out like it was s'posed to. I say Yay for the flippy cut, because I like it. :p And no I don't suggest you go Natalie V short...that's a bit drastic. Ha ha.

yeah, my mom was never fond of long hair so I had that super short cut a few times and I never liked it. My face is the wrong shape for it.

I would make a recommendation, but I suck when it come to haircuts. I really do. As you can see I pretty much always get the same exact cut every two weeks.

For this I say, it's tough being a girl... society puts more stress on women for hairstyles than it does for men.

I like both of those styles, although V. MArs looks kinda drab... hmmm, and please don't color your hair black and white.

HOWEVER, if you really do still have some red left over, a few highlighted blond streaks here and there might look very very nice.

Or maybe just streaks (not TOO extreme) on the front hair to trace your face.

I would never color my hair that crazy a color! black/white just ain't natural. I like to look natural. Plus, I'm white enough as it is ;)

well, to boost your confidence.... I can't think of any hairstyle you've ever had that I didn't think looked good. So whatever you choose will more likely than not be "Teh Hotness."

Both of those hairstyles are cute, but they also both look like they require creative use of a blowdryer and product. Like every day. Personally, I shy away from anything requiring maintenance. =P I like any bits of sleep I can get too. ^_~

I've done the flippy cut a few times now and it's surprisingly low maintenance, and if done well, when not styled it still looks cool. I think that's why I like it. It hardly requires any skill and if I wake up late I'll still look okay. :) I prefer sleep too.

Oo those are pretty hairstyles! I'm getting my haircut on Tuesday... I'm going to get it cut like Rachel Bilson's--Summer from "The O.C." I'll try to post pictures, as I need to print some out for my appointment...

I keep telling people that I'm going to shave it like Natalie, because she's my nonsexual girl crush and I have to follow her trends. Haha. Someone actually sent me a text message the last time I got it cut saying, "If you buzz it off I'm going to hit you." lol.

Yeah, my face is too round for the shorn look. And there's no way I could pull off bald. Natalie is so awesome for going all the way though. And I heard in a recent interview she said she really liked the cut and might keep it! :) Maybe a whole new short hair craze will hit.

There's this really cute children's book...'Stephanie's Ponytail' and she has her mom put her hair up one day before school and everyone likes it so much that when she comes the next day, EVERYONE has a ponytail. Anyway, this goes on the whole week with different hairstyles as Stephanie tries to change it up. By the end of the week she's so frustrated with the copycats she screams that she's going to go home and shave her head.

Which of course, she doesn't. But you can guess what happens when she returns to school the next day.
