Just saw this one on [livejournal.com profile] whedonesque - The Existential Joss Whedon. Looks like it's a text book, with the hefty pricetag of $35, but it will be mine...oh yes, it will be mine. (actually, I'm half posting it here so I can find this link again when the holiday season rolls around...)

Also broke down and ordered the Superman Returns soundtrack about 5 minutes ago. Amazon tempted me with free shipping if I ordered at least $11.07 more in merch, so I went to my wish list, and the new Smart Pop book on Superman was only $11.67 so I treated myself. I'm such a brat. I just want that durn CD!

OH! And for those of you wanting to reading something hilarious, check out Christopher Moore's 'A Dirty Job'. My mom sorta casually mentioned it, since it was clumped into this whole book review a few months ago talking about how all these random books coming out had death playing a major role. So I ordered it on a whim, and let me say, I love it! I haven't laughed out loud at a fiction book in quite some time, and this one just keeps making me giggle and guffaw. He's got so many random characters. It's so wacky and fun. Yes, if you need a laugh I totally reccommend this one!

In fact, I think I'm going to actually turn off my computer (GASP!) and go read because this book is that good! It can drag me away from teh internetz!

I would just like to say that I love Christopher Moore. Even though the dude has to be on a crucial amount of drugs... his books are ridiculously good and i've read every single one of them.

i just LOVED 'a dirty job'! I finished it last night and promptly sat down and ordered every single book he had in the library catalog. The only one we had on the shelf was 'the stupidest angel' which I am reading next.
