They finally cut Daniel Radcliffe's hair, which is good because it was getting out of hand. The bad part is, he looks like mini-Giles. At least, in that poster he does...to me...but I have buffy on the brain anyhow.

the more we looked at the photo the more worried we got to be about harry in this movie. He's supposed to be mopey harry! it was the one time he could embrace bad long hair, but instead they seem to have cut it all off and made him look even younger! hm.

You say "mini-Giles" like it's a bad thing! LOL ^_^ It is difficult to tell from that poster though, since it's all kinda airbrushed looking. I've got excited tinglies now seeing that 'cause that means it won't be so much longer! Squeee!

yeah, there's some definate air-brushage going on in that pic. I'm just sort of surprised they went for this look when he's going to be all emo and cranky in this movie. I almost wish he had the longer hair for the film, if he's clean cut and emo, I might just think he's a total jerk, as opposed to being shaggy and emo, where he comes off more as an idiot.

Wow.. it doesn't even look like the right color. It looks really, really fake in that picture... maybe they cut it and messed it up right before photos and had to photoshop it?? I hope so.

yeah, I went to leaky-cauldron.org to see if there were any other images, and all I found was some weird thing called something like the Queen's party? dunno what that was, but apparently OotP footage is set to be shown at comic-con, so I'm hoping we'll get a better idea of whats going on with his hair then. Because it does look really really weird. Actually, I think it makes him look to young! He should have had the long hair for this movie, then he would have seemed more emo.

Haha yeah, I didn't even think of that.. and obviously they didn't either. I hate OotP Harry. Hate hate hate.. the whiny little git. They totally need to do an Emo montage where he sits in the corner listening to Dashboard Confessional/Bright Eyes/etc. while looking out a rainy window and pouting.

honestly, my memory is not very good on the hp books either, I've only read them once, we should probably defer to some of my other LJ friends for questions like that! All I remember about book 5 was Emo!Harry, Umbridge, and how much my mom and I discussed whether the 9/11 effected the story JK was telling.
