so, jimithingy went to pick up sushi for lunch yesterday from Tokyo Sushi. Usually we go there together or with a group. Anyway, the story goes that he got there to pick up the sushi, and the restaurant owner, a little japanese lady, asked him where his sister was.

He quickly corrected here, "you mean my girlfriend?"

and apparently she just cracked up.

jimithingy is actually a year older than me, but you probably wouldn't guess it by looking at him. My hypothesis? She thinks I'm some sort of cradle robber!

I can't see how they'd think you look older than AD, I never thought of him as younger than you. Sometimes restaurant owners can be strange, BECAUSE (and this is from experience) sometimes work can be very boring, and when we see people, we make up stories in our heads about them (not just a little scenario or anything, but full-on plots and everything, GREAT STORIES BTW!). Well, I guess we get to believing they are true for so long, that when we find out they are not, it shocks and surprises us. lol So I think they thought you and AD were spies! And that you undercover ID was that you are brother and sister. She was totally trying to play along. And when he told her that you two are actually boyfriend and girlfriend, she laughed because, FINALLY her life has meaning and you two have trusted her to give her your true identities, and inadvertently in doing so, she will be trusted and useful with future information and operations!

Believe it or not, I've had strange situations like that with my sister.

One time I was getting a haircut fro ma creepy old guy, and he asked if my sister (who was sitting right in front of us hearing the whole thing) was my girlfriend. (In my opinion, I definitely look older than my sister and she DEFINITELY looks underaged. lol) So I told the guy, "No." And he said, "hmmm, well, she's gonna make some guy very lucky in that touchy-feely kinda way one day." I rushed him through the rest of my haircut and LEFT! And never went back.

Then at Gianni's (someting far more funny and LESS LESS creepy happened), Raven and I went in to order out pizza and at the very same time, unexpectedly, we both said, "One medium pizaa with half pepperoni and half cheese." The guys working stopped everything and looked at us, and said "Ha ha, That's so funny when twins try to talk at the same time, god job guys." They seemed genuiney serious, so Raven was quick to tell them, "Uh, he's not my brother, I MEAN, HE'S not my TWIN, a-ha ha, but he's my OOOOOLDER brother, yyeeeah." lol

LOL! true true. I always forget he's that much younger than you!

I wonder if she just assumed that because I tend to pay when we're there, because usually it's my idea. Though AD has paid a few times. I dunno, that lady is crazy! haha. but she's so nice!
