T-U-R-T-L-E POWER!
Jul. 22nd, 2006 06:02 pmZOMG! Why was I not alerted to this? They're making a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie! Can't tell if it's a "remake" of the first one or a new story. Looks like it's all CGI...this might be awesome.
The "teaser trailer" is up on the site, though
jimithingy pointed out that it looks more like a tech demo ("look, if we make it look like this, can we make the movie?" "oh damn that was cool, okay!") but still!!!!
:D

Date: 2006-07-22 10:44 pm (UTC)The turtles look awesome. I hope they make it like the class turtles and not like this craptastic cartoon re-make I've seen on the saturday cartoon line-up. I loved the turtles, man. If they can do it right?
That animation is amazing, btw. WHOO! Thanks for sharing!

Date: 2006-07-23 06:30 am (UTC)ONe series in particualr fascinated me, and was quite on the Gothic side. The turtles, drawn more realistically with sharper beak-like mouths, were trapped in a morbid dream scape with a large crow with only a skull for a head, and decayed bodies and bones were strewn all around. It was great and very imaginative.
Now I'll have to go an dig up the graphic novels I do have. Very cool, however, all were done in black and white (also done for more dramatic effect) until they started crafting some of the series like the cartoon and did them more in color.
Done babbling.
