Went to my new dentist today and had my check up and such. Looks like one of my fillings fell out so I have to go back and get that replaced - yipee. She also said that my lower wisdom teeth have not come in yet because there's no room for them and gave me a referral to an oral surgeon. Yikes! She showed me the x-rays though, and she's right, the teeth are coming in sideways and no good will come of them. It made me sad.

But I cheered up again, because I ran into Target and got a shiny new Blue clone trooper AND a Superman Figure & Cup set! Yay! My new superman will come to work with me and sit on my desk for moral support.

UUuuuuuh, not a whole let else happenin' here. As many of you have pointed out, it's mad crazy hot here on the east coast of the US. I took jimithingy's car into work today. I am planning on taking my car over to the shop tomorrow just to see what it would cost to recharge the AC (if that's all it is). Mini plans are being pushed back until they have a rebate or sale or something.

I signed up for a gmail account. Everyone's always talking about how great it is, and my hotmail has been invaded by strange porn spam recently and it's driving me crazy! So I figured, what the heck! My friends had invites, why not give it a whirl.

I need to buy shorts. That's my mission for this weekend - get shorts! and new sandals that don't smell like feet. Because my grandparents house in Maine has no AC so I will want shorts. And so will the mosquitos.

I HATE dentists. Most of the ones I and others have encountered are not health professionals, they are small businessmen. They will always offer you the absolute most expensive option, not letting you know that you could also just let things be.. sometimes for years. And then they get all offended when you decline to spend thousands of dollars on the latest and greatest treatment which they assure you is *urgent*.

This is all to say that if your teeth don't hurt, you can probably let the whole thing go. My lower wisdom teeth are also not in and sideways, and I've been quite happy leaving them that way for years.

yeah, my old dentist used to make it sound like I had to get it done and that it would be all 4 teeth and OMG better hurry before your parents insurance runs out. This new lady said she thought the top two teeth were fine but she was concerned about the bottom two, but that she wasn't really qualified to say whether the surgery was required. But my teeth have been in that position for the past year at the very least (I found my first referral while cleaning my desk off the other day) so I'm not super concerned. But I might go in just to see what he has to say. I wonder if they can tell if they are moving or not...

i don't like going to the dentist either. i like my teeth to be clean, but then i don't like working being done on my teeth. getting my wisdom pulled out ended up not being so bad though b/c they put me to sleep to do it..

i got a gmail account about a year ago because everyone started to get one and it was like the thing to do, i guess it still is. anyone, i gave it a try, but i actullay didn't like it. i rarely used it. and i actually just cancelled it last week. i prefer yahoo mail.

my hotmail account just started getting all kinds of junk and spam mail too! it's annoying!
