one of the longer days this week

orangerfulSo, I had my very first storytime today. And we had 42 kids show up. FORTY TWO!!!!! That's a lot of kids between the ages of 2 and 5 (more 2s than 5s though).
I survived though. I did manage to completely lose the words and the rhythm to "Who Stole the Cookies from the Cookie Jar". I never actually sang that song as a kid, in fact, the first time I heard it was from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
maybemanda...though I can't remember why. I think she had it as an away message or something. Anyway, I was mortified by my error, but the kids didn't really notice. *shrug*
Next week will go smoother I think *crosses fingers*
In other news, I must see 'Fanboys' as soon as it is released. Kristen Bell wears the Princess Leia gold bikini! Even I'm a bit turned on by that. Plus,Jimmy Olsen Sam Huntington is the lead and I think he's a cutie. IMDB says 2007! That's too far away!!!! Nooooo! I want it now.
And what the heck happened to 5-25-77?? IMDB lists that as coming out in May 2006...which I'm pretty sure has passed....
jimithingy bought season 2 of 'The Office' for us today. We watched the first episode. Gotta watch all 22 by next Thursday!!! So it's Veronica Mars and Office for the rest of this month! haha.
And now I must go read some more 'Bloodsucking Fiends' and possibly pass out with the book on top of my head.
