Wii!!!!

jimithingy woke up early this morning and went to pick up our Wii! I had to work at 12:30 but I had the chance to play two quick games of Wii Sports - Tennis & Boxing.

OMG SO FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Granted, these games are very simple in their style. The bodies of the characters are little round ball pieces, but they are so cute it doesn't matter. What is awesome is how easy it was to play! Sure, there was a slight learning curve, getting the hang of the Wii-mote and Nunchuck (for boxing) but once I got it figured out, good times!

I'm a bit of a spaz with the Wii-mote - it's easy to over-compensate. Especially when you're used to the old 1980s kinda motion sensorts that required you to overact to get their attention. But it's really all very intuitive. Boxing was fun as the Wii-mote and Nunchuck were just extensions of your hands so you moved them around to block and punch and dodge. And I won both games (beginners luck)

jimithingy also picked up the new Zelda (of course) and Super Monkey Ball & Trauma Center - 2 games he said got the highest scores on Gamespot. So I'll get to try those out when I get home.

AAAAHHH!!!! Jacob's roommate got a Wii and I spent ALL DAY over there playing it! I played Golf, Tennis, and Boxing. And my Mii is SO cute. She has a little pink outfit and kinda wavy/kinky hair and is smirking cause I'm so snarky. haha. It made me want a Wii...

LOLZ! jimithingy's Mii has a little smirk too. Sammie (my Mii) has the little red smile. I want my friends to come over so I can make more Miis and have a little parade!

My arm is actually sore from playing like such a spaz. I think it was the baseball that did me in. I really want for it.
