I know, it's so upsetting - you can already sense that the movie we're going to get now will be pretty weak.

I hope Joss hangs on to his script, maybe he can put it into comic book for some day if they will give him the rights...probably not but one can hope!

I know. I'm really scared about what the studio's "vision" for the film is...my guess? Some teen pop star in the lead role jumping around.
