jimithingy and I sat down last night and watched disc 1 of the BSG boxed set - that would be the 4 hour miniseries. We didn't actually *mean* to watch all 4 hours in one sitting but there was just no where to stop!! Once it got going, it was too intense to pause and say "oh we'll come back tomorrow".

So far, I'm really enjoying the show. I don't think I'll obsess over it like Buffy, but I really like the characters. Do they get to do any "light" episodes? The miniseries and "33" were pretty heavy, and I like a little goofiness every now and then.

Speaking of obsessing, I was not't consciously looking for it, but I did see Serenity's cameo in the miniseries. Got me thinking of the colonial government was so great after all or if they were just some fancy-pants Alliance members bossing everyone around. ;-)

off to see '300' in a little bit!!!
