choose your car wash's sex?

Just noticed something -- the "brushless car wash" next door to us has two stalls. When you pull up into either stall, it welcomes you and asks you to choose your carwash.

One stall has a male voice, the other a female voice....

what's up with that?

That's pretty weird/funny. Only thing I can think is, so maybe if two people pull up at the same time, you don't confuse what your machine is saying to you with what the other one is saying...? Assuming both are audible at the same time.
