...and while I like the song, the electronic part of it sounds a heck of a lot like the Sims 2 loading screen music...

how about "Brand New Colony" (#9 on PS CD)? Am I wrong that it's Pac Man music?

Can you explain last.fm? I'm too lazy to check it out. Will it be a problem if most of my iTunes is B&S? Will it say "we're sorry, we can't help you"?

haha, I haven't heard that one and the library doesn't have any Postal Service CDs! Bugger.

Last.fm, or at least what I've figured out from fiddling with it, is a site that keeps track of what you've played on iTunes (you download something called a "scrobbler") and then it lists it on the site in your profile area. It attempts to suggest other artists etc. And then it creates a little streaming radio for you of songs it thinks you might like.

I've just started experimenting with me. I threw it all off because I listened to 3 full CDs last week, but yesterday I went thru and searched for some of the other artists I liked and tried to even it back out.

It's a big ol' internet time sink, just like everything else. hehe.

I have one album by the Postal Service because the hubby thought I would like it. I dunno, but it sounded a bit peppy for my personal taste, which is funny, because I know a lot of people who share similar musical tastes as mine, and they love them. o_O

I've only heard 2 songs. My brother got me into 'Death Cab' and it's the same singer so I think that's why it came up on my 'reccommended' station. I dunno if I could take a full album of it, but the one song was fun.

Huh... I didn't know the singer was the same. I have 'Death Cab' on my long list of 'gotta check out', but that list, itself, is on a rather long to-do list. o_O Needless to say, I still haven't heard them. I think I just always found it hard to make myself spend $20 on a CD I may not enjoy. I suppose I can now banish that train of thought since I can now purchase just a song or two of a band I find I may be interested in. :D
