random icons

I have a few icons lying around from contests and goofing off. Figured I'd better share them before I forget! Had an urge to make a desktop too, but it didn't turn out like i wanted. Still figured I'd share it. :) Just in case!

But first - for beckanon

Nothing fancy, but really, text or textures would have have distracted from "the look". hehe.

HA- That's great! Thanks! Nothing says "I could have gone my whole life without seeing what I just saw" quite like that expression.

BTW, here's a n00b question.. what exactly does it mean to "credit" someone for an icon? I've lifted some from someone who offered them for use if you credited them. Does that just mean you can use the icon, and if people compliment you, you're honest about where it came from? Can I use the Jim icon if I credit you?

when you upload an icon, there's a little spot for "keywords" and "comments" which a lot of people use to list the creator of an icon. If you look at my userpics (http://www.livejournal.com/allpics.bml?user=orangerful) you can see how it all looks. :)

and of COURSE you can use the Jim icon! I made him for you (though I might have to use him too, you're right, it's the perfect expression for so many occasions).

... These are awesome! By the way, my knowledge beams are failing me where is the pic for " My city of ruins from?" I have a feeling I've seen it and will be kicking myself.

it's from 'heroes' so you're probably just imagining things since you've somehow resisted the coolness that is that show. haha.
