BSG back in 2007?

oh ho ho! I may not have seen season 3 yet, but I had heard BSG wasn't returning until 2008.

BUT IMDB as an "Untitled BSG TV Special" listed as in pre-production. Does anyone know if this is for real?

I've got the DVR all set up to start taping season 3 when it starts again this weekend. (2am...at least I won't be tempted to stay up and watch it!) We're already halfway thru season 2.5 (we watched 'Sacrifice' last night...*sniff*)

Okay, here's what I've heard, more or less straight from an Ronald D. Moore interview:
the actual season, which is going to be 22 episodes longe, will not start until '08. However, this fall, there will be a two hour movie/event thing which will be set in the past of the series and somehow feature/focus on the Battlestar Pegasus, but it will still feature the regular cast we know, and it will lay the groundwork for some of things in the new season.
And I think the movie/event is being counted as the first two "episodes" of the season, so it'll be 20 actual episodes long, like season 2 and 3.

god i gotta watch this show. I've been saying this for ages and ages.. but i just got to. I've really heard nothing but goodness about it. You know, because I'm not watching enough shows already

oh I hear ya - I had avoided BSG when it started because all I ever saw was Six (the hottie in the red dress) and wrote it off as a 7 of 9 star trek wanna be for fanboys only. Boy was I WRONG! But don't get hooked until you have time because it sucks you in! Though start from the beginning, I don't think it would be possible to jump in to the middle of this mess! Too many little things going on.

oh dexter icon...i miss dex. (jimithingy makes fun of me for liking Dexter, but he's a psych major and he keeps trying to explain that he's a sociopath and I keep trying to explain that it's all pretend).
