So, I just watched 'Drive' and it was FAR better than I expected! Yes, I'll admit, I had my doubts. The entire set up seemed cheesy, but it works! I hope they have a PLAN!! *tries to yell loud enough to Tim Minear can hear her*

As pointed out by other members of the flist, lots of Jossverse love in this show - not just with Nathan "Mal Reynolds" Fillion but also Amy "Winifred Burkle" Acker, and the guy who played Jubal Early and the lady that played the ghost that haunted Cordelia's new apartment in season 1 of 'Angel' (Okay...that might be a stretch...but Tim had to have met her!)

I'm also highly amused that the guy who is the checkpoint man was in 'American Graffiti'. I can now link 'Drive' to all of my major fandoms. (and was that Cindy Williams who answered the phone at the "nursery" where Sam is being kept? If it was, that makes 2 'Graffiti' alums)

I haven't watched episode #3 yet. It was taping while I watched the first 2. I just hope they can keep up the tension and the fun!

I'm watching Drive 1x01 as i type this. I was really kind of unsure of it at first but its kind of growing on me. Its definatley on my weekly watch list now anyway

The actress who plays Amy Acker's sister played Jaye's sister on Wonderfalls and also a lead investigator on The Inside.

And you better believe that's Cindy Williams.

yeah, I'm not saying it's the best show ever, but it's definately a fun watch. I'll DVR it, especially since it looks like it might go into the summer a little bit, when all of my regular shows are on break. :)
