Add this to the list of "stuff I must have" - Buffy 10th Anniversary Trading Cards -- only problem is, I've learned that to get a complete set, I'm pretty much going to have to buy a full box of cards like I did for the Veronica Mars and Firefly sets...oh well!

heiland_coo and I have been watching 'Firefly' on our lunch breaks and we're finally up to 'Serenity'. Unfortunately for her, these past 2 weeks have been cRazY, so she still hasn't seen the end. We just got up to the part where they arrive on Miranda and we had to stop.

Speaking of Nathan Fillion - he posted a short blurb about 'Drive' on his MySpace.

I had FIVE boxes of donations to go thru this afternoon at work. Some guy who used to own a bookstore was cleaning out his back room I guess. So all the books were in great condition. I even managed to take a few for myself (Kitchen Confidential, The Underpants (play by Steve Martin) and Lamb: The Gospel According to Christ's Childhood Pal, Biff). But I have made a huge mess of my donations table...but I don't have to see it again until Monday!

I should probably get to bed. I'm going to a "Speaker Showcase" tomorrow, which should be fun. I'm on a committee that's in charge of picking speakers for our general staff meeting and other staff events, so I assume this will be the speakers trying their best to get hired. Only trouble is, it starts at 8am. In D.C. - which means I gotta get up soooo early (well for me, I don't have to be at the library until 8:45 on other days and the branch is only 30 minutes from me). So I've decided to set my alarm for 6, get up and shower and leave. I'm supposed to meet 2 other people at library headquarters around 7am. This shindig better have coffee!

So, yes, I think I'll go lie down and at least *pretend* I'm going to bed early.
