Supernatural

orangerfulSo, I just watched the pilot episode of 'Supernatural' and I liked it.
*waits for SPN fans on the flist to stop flailing*
Definitely had a lot of promise. I've learned from watching a lot of TV that judging a show just on the pilot is never a good idea, so I plan to watch the next episode. I really liked the feel of the show though. Made me think of Season 1 X Files - back when Mulder & Scully were able to have a few light moments in between fighting classic monsters. And it was just scary enough that I feel the need to turn on all the lights before I go into the bedroom (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jimithingy had his guitar case leaning on the bed and I was sure it was the woman in white come to swallow my soul!!)
And did anyone else have major "Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade" moments during the pilot? Especially when Dean had his dad's journal, all I could hear was Sean Connery proclaiming "I wrote it down so I wouldn't have to remember!".
I'm not ordering Megadeath albums or downloading screencaps yet, but I am liking what I see, and will definitely give the show a try. :D
