There seems to be some sort of exodus going on right now - lots of MySpacers sending me adds on Facebook. Many of them just graduated High School...I find that interesting.

The like the whole "Application" thing on Facebook. That's a cool way to integrate other sites into the system without making it unstable. And while I am sort of annoyed by the lack of customizing you can do on Facebook, as far as color scheme etc., it's still better than the fugly messes we get on MySpace that crash my browser.

Another thing that bugs me about Facebook is the lack of "screenname". I know it's silly, but I don't like seeing a site refer to me by my full name. I really prefer orangerful when I'm on a social networking sort of site. And Facebook is the only site so far that doesn't give you the option to make your display name different from your registered name.

I feel the need to change my layout theme again. Trying to decide what fandom to go with next. Kristen Bell has dominated my screen for awhile now. I'm thinking I might go BSG, or at least Starbuck...or at the very least, Katee. (Since she's my newest girl!crush).

Facebook is kind of addictive. I enjoy that it's helped me get in touch with some old friends. Are you on there? if you are... we should be facebook friends too! Haha. Oh man... the internet owns us.

yeah, I'd just like to hide my full name from view. Plus, it's weird how it uses my full name to say I did something. I don't mind people knowing my full name and searching for me that way, but I really don't want people who are just clicking thru friends lists to end up on my page and suddenly know my entire name. *shrug*

I think when it comes to my online identity, I prefer remaining a bit anonymous - so I prefer "orangerful" and "Sam".

I need to take a look at Facebook. It does seem to be one of the next things. I don't know if I want to sign up though, I'm not so keen on the peoples "finding" me. Generally speaking, most of the people I'd care to still be in touch with, I still am. As for Myspace, I've never been a fan of it, but at least I can use a screen name and put up little to no personal info. Putting too much info out on the internet is... kinda squicky. I still had someone from Elementary school find me through Myspace anyway. o_O

Yeah, agreed. Most of my MySpace friends and Facebook friends are livejournal people haha! I really have no desire to reconnect with anyone from High School (Or elementary school! I don't even think I can remember anyone from then).

But you know me, I like to poke around on these new fangled sites that all the kids are talking about...just to freak them out a bit when I say I have one of my own ;)
