So, as of 8pm est, the cheapest dinner with Joss is around $3,600.  

I really shouldn't but I want to bid sooooo bad.  Who needs food?  And clothing?  This is frakkin' Joss Whedon!  

*tries to calm down*

Thing is, the auction started today and it runs through July 12th.  How crazy will these numbers get by then???

Of course, I would be concerned if I actually met Joss.  He's one of the few things on my "before I die" list.  And I'm scared that if I do complete one of them, I might actually die.  

Probably safer to sit here and just brood.

ha- see, I always get worried about dying *before* something happens. Like, my latest thing is that I'm being extra careful to stay alive until July 25-ish (HP7 plus time to read).

So the dinner is for 5.. I guess it's the top 5 bidders and not the top bidder and 4 friends? (so not everyone at dinner will have bid the same amount)? You don't want to drop a few thousand and risk ending up with some obnoxious butt-insky who won't let Joss talk anyway. You'll meet him some other time. Maybe you'll end up walking into a concert next to him. I've heard rumors that these things happen..

Joss actually did just randomly show up at one of the Buffy Sing-A-Longs last week.

Guess I should go live in LA for awhile...increase me odds.

yeah, at least it's all for a good cause, 100% of the cash goes to Equality Now. So they should get a ton of money.

Still, I wish it wasn't so much so I could get in on that action!! ;-)
