In better news - as long as the weather behaves itself (which it is supposed to, according to my Firefox Forecast), we're going to the Carnival! There's one at the firehouse about 15 minutes from here.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jimithingy revealed to me that he had never been to a carnival ever, so I am determined that we go! Plus...I want funnel cake!
Work today was nutty. We had a program that was supposed to be outside but it was cloudy and threatening to rain, so we moved it inside, which meant that suddenly we had a space limit. Actually had to turn people away. :( But it went well, and most people understood when we said the room was full. My volunteens ran me a bit ragged. One of them was really trying to help, and someone told her to organize the dvds. But whenheiland_coo went over to check on her, she realized she had taken all the non-fiction dvds and interfiled them with the regular dvds, and then shifted the entire shelf to fit them in. On, and for some strange reason, she also reversed them so instead of going from left to right, they were in order from right to left. o.O
So, yeah. TGIF. And it's my friday off too! Huzzah! I'm not waking up tomorrow until my body says so!

See, the sad thing is, it's going to be a kids' movie, so it's going to be written down

to kids' level, and then, even then, there's little chance it will be written well, even under those parameters. I see little chance of me enjoying that film.
