EDIT: Also - Portland, Maine winds the coolest city award from me. Check out Mugglefest My uncle is apparently making wands to sell! He better save one for his favorite niece!!!

I actually saw Emma reacting to that picture on TV! It was on the TV guide channel, believe it or not. They didn't show the picture she was reacting to, though, so I like how you can see in the photo what she's looking at.

I don't blame her, really. Daniel has matured nicely, but he's not.. that. I've also seen a number of interviews with him recently and he seems to be kind of dorky. In a charming, endearing and non-Hollywood way, but still dorky. Not at all leather vesty.

when I first saw the picture, I thought it was a manip because he is just so not a leather vest guy. But then I saw it was part of the photoshoot for Details magazine and that just made it even funnier.

I'm happy to hear that he's dorky. It seems to HP crew have kept relatively level heads as far as their stardom goes. No one is bald, preggers, or in jail yet so they are doing much better than the American teen celebs.

yeah, Daniel seems to have been "managed" very well by his parents and other adults involved in his career. I also get the sense that he takes acting very seriously and works hard at it, so I'm glad to see things going so well for him (especially Equus, which was a huge risk!)

And I think the problem may be that vest, not the person wearing it. I mean seriously, would you want to see anyone in that vest? Even John Krasinski.. hang on a sec, let me visualize it.. Nope, nope, the Eww factor remains..

haha, true. The men that can wear vests like that and "pull it off" are not our types at all. (and part of me doubts we would be their type either!)
