orangerful"Feminist" is not a bad word. "Feminism" is not a bad thing. Please do not roll your eyes when you're talking to me about a writer who is also a feminist.
*sigh* I wish I had a catchy comeback for when people go "She's not one of those types of feminists". All I said was "huh". What I should have said was "Oh, you mean the image perpetuated by the male dominated media portraying feminists as only butch lesbians and man haters? One of those kinds of feminists?"
It bothers me when people make comments like that. Especially when they are women, and mothers.
Equality NOW people. It's not embarrassing for you to be asked that you are treated equally and respected.
