haha, I know when AD said "they have some weird candy bars here" all of a sudden I was attacking the shelves looking for anything weird. I got a couple 'Crunchie' bars which are just sooo sooo bad - "honey comb" sugar in the center with chocolate outside. You can feel your teeth absorbing all those bad bits as it melts in your mouth.
wtf did Cadbury do? Why don't we get any of their candies over here except for the Easter merch? Did they piss someone off in the states or something? I want more freaky Cadbury candy!
Hey- Welcome back! Missed the updates, but I was also happy each time I checked and there was no update, as I figured this could only mean you were having a great time. Love the pix, can't wait to see more. The food looks delish.. And they have bus drivers who are helpful- I didn't think that was possible! As for the statues, that reminds me that I need to share this with you, since you saw the famous John Harvard statue the summer before last: http://hacks.mit.edu/Hacks/by_year/2007/halo3_john_harvard/ Even I have to admit this is pretty cool!
That place was uber-posh. It was right on the beach and we had just gone down to dip our toes in the water and we saw it and decided to go up. Completely underdressed haha. But the food was sooooooo good.
And Master Chief is awesome!! At first I assumed it was photoshop but the fact that they actually modified the statue...that is just so cool! Nerds rule.
Also, have you heard of some awesome cupcake place up in Boston? The chick who owns it used to go to MIT...it was on a Bobby Flay Throwdown. They looked very yummy. We must go there next summer!
