random buffy thought

I watched 'Buffy' while doing some crunches this morning. People pick on 'Beer Bad' and say it is the worst episode ever, but season 5's 'Crush' is pretty lame. I remember when it aired, all the build up for the return of Drusilla! And then the whole episode was sort of a mess. Mostly the end. I'm sure when I watched it the first time, I thought Spike would be evil again, but since he doesn't go evil, it's pretty anticlimactic.

I dunno, I felt the need to share that. I don't understand why everyone picks on 'Beer Bad'. It's corny but it's not unwatchable!

Really?? My perspective is probably crazy screwed, because I didn't actually start watching until season 5 and was forced to get everything else through reruns, but I actually love Beer Bad. I just thought it was funny :/

so do I! But every time one of those "worst episode?" questions pops up in a buffy comm, 'Beer Bad' is usually the first one mentioned. I love 'Beer Bad'. It's just good plain fun!

Of course, I didn't start watching until season 4 reruns, so it was one of the first I saw, maybe my standards were not as high ;)

I don't think Beer Bad is that bad of episode either. Actually I kinda enjoyed it. There is a few episodes that I can think of that are what I can consider lame or bad such as Double Meat Palace.. Or maybe an episode with alot of Riley
