I just watched X-Play's 'Rock Band' special, which culminated in a review of the game, which they gave a 5 outta 5. So, I'm thinking I sorta...kinda...want it now. I just think it would be so fun. Plus, the track list looks awesome! I actually know some of the songs!

Anyway, so while my brain is pondering this, X-Play made one fatal mistake -- they showed the cast of the show actually playing the game! It's impossible to look rockstar cool while staring at a screen and trying to follow the pattern on your controller instrument. I was laughing so hard, they are already a dorky crew but you could tell Adam was confused and Morgan was trying not to screw up. Only the new guy, Joe, seemed comfortable, but apparently he's a Guitar Hero addict.

Oh who am I kidding? I still want it! But only if Santa brings it, I don't think I'm going to drop $170 for it just now.

Rock Band is INSANE hard to get. My brother wants it for the 360 and it pretty much isn't going to happen prolly till January, really. They didn't make enough of the drums...and wanted to make them really sturdy...so it really will be an after Christmas thing. ;)

Maybe you should ask cupid for it on Valentine's Day. heehee.

ah well, not surprised! The gaming industry really needs to get its shiznite together when it comes to supply and demand!!!

We'll see if my brother gets the game...then I can try it out.

OH! I wanted to ask you. I don't know if you have/play the Nintendo DS, but I am getting one for Christmas (Dad bought me the black/red one the other day when I was working and could show him the one I wanted.) I was wondering if you had played any of the games...and had any recommendations. :D

Zelda!!!!! Phantom Hourglass is the newest one, but any Legend of Zelda game rocks. DS also plays Nintendo Advance games btw. If you want something silly, Nintendogs is a great time waster. Brain Age is fun if you're a nerd haha.

Kirby Canvas Curse really takes advantage of the stylus. New Super Mario Bros is just old fashioned side scrolling fun.

If you're in an RPG kinda mood, the Final Fantasy games have been rereleased on the DS. I also enjoy Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time, the Mario Bros. RPG.

... I kind of want to drizzle Joel Gourdin with caramel but maybe that's just me...

Maybe I'm just some bitter fan , but I don't like the fact that they keep messing with the "FLavor" of X-play. I understand that life is change but disembodied announcer guy was one of my favorites! Now they introduce themselves?! ANd sometimes they don't even do that. It's not the same.


I'll just go write Adam/Joel slash now and feel better. :)

I've always been anti-Joel, just because he came out of nowhere and took up X-Play time. He's clearly the male version of that chick that does 'The Feed'. Though now that I've seen him play Guitar Hero, I might trust him a bit more. Still, X-Play is the only show on G4 that I watch anymore. I'm very protective of it.
